Stellmann Non-Slip Clear stands out with its CSIRO-certification in accordance with the Australian Standard for slip-resistance (AS 4586-2013). Our commitment to safety is evident in the development of multiple formulations, each tailored to different slip-ratings. For instance, we offer options ranging from P3 ratings (soft and normal) to P4 and P5 ratings, ensuring suitability for diverse needs.

Moreover, our dedication to quality assurance extends beyond initial certification, as many of our coatings undergo testing and certification post-installation in accordance to AS 4663-2013 by independent slip-test companies such as ATTAR, SafeEnvironments, and SlipTesting Australia. Stellmann Non-Slip Clear is available in various slip-ratings. We offer P3 Soft, P3, P4 and P5. Here is a short summary of where to use which slip-rating. In case of any further questions please contact us. Our slip-ratings are CSIRO-certified so you do not need a higher slip-rating than officially required, even if your current tiles or surface claims to have that slip-rating.

P3 Soft: Interior areas that do not get frequently wet such as foyers, lobbies, walkways in offices, food courts, stairs, etc. Not for barefoot areas.

P3: Indoor areas such as showers, bathrooms, entry areas, residential kitchens, stairs, toilet facilities in offices, hotels and shopping centres

P4: Outdoor areas such as entry areas, walkways, stairs, steps, court yards, balconies, verandas, carports, driveways.

P5: Commercial kitchens, external ramps including sloping driveways, footpaths etc., steeper than 1 in 14.

Application

Stellmann Non-Slip Clear is versatile and adheres exceptionally well to a wide range of surfaces. You can confidently apply our coating on various materials including tiles, ceramics, marble, terrazzo, natural stone, concrete, vinyl, fiberglass showers, and even metal and glass surfaces.

What sets our product apart is the non-etching formula, making it safe for use on delicate surfaces like marble, travertine, and bluestone without causing any damage to the surface.

For surfaces previously treated with solvent-based products or nano (non-stick) treatments, we recommend conducting an adhesion test prior to application. If you have any questions or uncertainties, feel free to reach out to us for guidance and support.

Stellmann Non-Slip Clear is engineered for user-friendly applications, featuring an easy roll-on process. Follow these steps for optimal results:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the surface is clean and thoroughly dry before application.
  2. Apply Primer: Use the primer provided with our product. Apply a thin layer by sponge or microfibre mop. Allow Curing: Let the primer cure for approximately 30 minutes.
  3. Apply Stellmann Non-Slip Clear: Once the primer has cured, mix the two-components of our non-slip coating and apply a single layer evenly over the surface.

After applying Stellmann Non-Slip Clear, the original surface remains visible since the coating is completely clear. Once cured, it provides a transparent non-slip surface with a subtle satin finish that maintains the natural look of your surface.

To ensure the longevity of your Stellmann Non-Slip surface, we advise implementing a simple and regular maintenance routine. Depending on the slip-rating of your coating, the cleaning process varies slightly. See our Technical Advise & Maintenance Instructions for more information.

For our P3 rated coatings, designed for interior areas, cleaning is easy with a (microfiber) mop, brush, or cleaning machine. For higher slip ratings typically used in outdoor settings, we recommend cleaning with a hose, pressure washer, broom brush or cleaning machine.

The Stellmann Prep & Maintenance is an effective and powerful cleaner to maintain your Stellmann surface clean. It concentrated formula makes it a very economical cleaner which will go a long way.
