Wear

Held P4 at 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 wear cycles in an accelerated wear test to AS 4586. Sliptest Australia, NATA accreditation 15374, report AWT011021-1.

The fine print

Most of these are in-situ tests to AS 4663, which reports a value and does not pass or fail a floor. Where a report printed no classification, we band its own figure against AS 4586 Table 2.

A slip test measures a floor at a point in time. Wear, damage and the wrong cleaning all move the number, which is why commercial work gets a re-test schedule.
