Why are some chemicals dangerous for engineered stone?
Engineered stone uses polyester or acrylic resin binders. Certain chemicals can soften the resin, causing yellowing, cloudiness and surface degradation. Stellmann's coating bonds without resin interaction, eliminating all chemical risk.
What's the difference between Caesarstone, Quantum Quartz and Essastone?
All three are quartz-composite engineered stones with similar resin chemistry. Stellmann's coating adds slip resistance on each without acid etching.
Can Stellmann's coating be applied to kitchen benchtops without affecting food safety?
Yes. Our coating is food-contact-safe once fully cured and is approved for use in commercial kitchens and food prep areas where hygiene standards are critical.
