This Program Policy forms part of the Stellmann Certified Installer Program and Contractor Agreement. It applies from 1 November 2026.
This Policy sets out how the Stellmann Certified Installer Program runs day to day. It is to be read alongside the Stellmann Certified Installer Program and Contractor Agreement (the Agreement). To the extent of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Agreement, the terms of the Agreement prevail.
Every certified installer holds one of two tiers.
| Silver | Gold | |
|---|---|---|
| Certification and the online course | Yes | Yes |
| The 165 m² kits | At list price | 15% off list price (section 3) |
| The Starter Maintenance Kit at the certified installer price | Yes | Yes |
| Quote templates, quote reviews and technical support | Yes | Yes, with priority technical escalation |
| Case-study promotion of your work | No | Yes |
| Install logging with reapply reminders for your own clients | Yes | Yes |
| Routed jobs from Stellmann | Only as the backup (section 9) | Priority access to suitable jobs near you, in a rotating queue (section 9) |
| Priority reapply leads from logged customers | No | Yes |
| Commercial subcontracting work on bigger projects | No | Yes |
| On-site training session | At the rate in section 10 | One free session on earning Gold (section 10) |
Neither tier guarantees the provision of any minimum number of leads, jobs, opportunities, projects, or revenue to the installer.
Keeping certification. There is no membership fee. An installer that has neither logged an install nor ordered a coating kit (any size) in the last 12 months will cease to hold its certified status. The installer may regain certified installer status by successfully completing the practical assessment at a Stellmann certification event.
A Gold installer receives 15% off the list price on these products:
Until 1 January 2027 the hardener sold on its own also carries the 15%. From 1 January 2027 it does not.
Every other product is at list price for both tiers, except the Starter Maintenance Kit, which carries the certified installer price for Silver and Gold. The current prices for each tier are on the Certified Installer price list.
Gold is earned by creating your own work. Stellmann assesses every certified installer against one standard, on the last 12 months. The 12 months is a rolling window, not a waiting period: an installer who meets the standard sooner earns Gold at the next quarterly review, once it has been certified for 90 days.
The Gold standard: 750 m² of your own work in the last 12 months.
Your own work is the coating you bought from Stellmann in the last 12 months, less the jobs Stellmann sold for you.
To hold Gold, an installer also needs all of these:
Gold is open to every certified installer in Australia, wherever it works. There is no limit on the number of Gold installers. There is one Gold tier, with the same benefits everywhere.
For the first 12 months the 750 m² standard is the same everywhere. After that, where Stellmann has documented that a region has much less work available (enquiries, population, commercial sites, installers per area), it may set a lower standard for that region. The benefits of Gold stay the same. A standard is never lowered because of a complaint.
Gold does not promise routed jobs. Stellmann sends routed jobs where its clients are, which is mostly the capital cities, so a Gold installer outside them may receive few or none.
Every quarter, Stellmann checks every certified installer against section 4.
Each month every installer is told its own work in m², the Gold standard and how far it is from it. There is no public leaderboard.
A Contractor that fails to meet the Gold Criteria at a review will receive a written warning and retain Gold status. If the Contractor fails to meet the Gold Criteria again at the next review, its status will revert to Silver.
Changes to the standard. The 750 m² standard is fixed until 31 December 2027 and will thereafter continue on a month-to-month basis, unless and until varied by the Company by written notice to the Contractor or superseded by a new agreement between the parties. After that Stellmann reviews it once a year and raises it only when at least a quarter of active certified installers meet the current standard and there is enough work to support a higher one. A rise is a step of 20% to 30%. Stellmann gives notice before a new standard applies, and an installer who holds Gold keeps it until the end of a full review period under the new standard.
Each quarter Stellmann publishes a content brief specifying the proof and supporting materials required. Such proof and materials may include raw installation video, before and after photos, job details, customer permission, and testimonials. Stellmann retains sole discretion to determine whether a submission satisfies the requirements and whether the supporting materials will be accepted and approved.
A logged install counts when it is entered in Stellmann's install form within 14 days of completion, without Stellmann chasing, and carries:
Stellmann offers a routed job in this order:
1. The Gold installers within sensible travel of the site, in turn. The Gold installer who was offered a job longest ago is offered first, and moves to the back of the queue once offered, whether it accepts or declines.
2. A Silver installer, only when no Gold installer is within reasonable travel distance of the site (as determined by Stellmann in its discretion), or every nearby Gold installer declines or does not answer within the 4 business hours.
Gold gives priority access to suitable jobs Stellmann sells, not a number of jobs. Opportunities depend on where customers are, the fit of the job, the installer's capacity and response time, and demand. Stellmann decides what counts as sensible travel for each job. The rules below apply to every installer who is offered or accepts a routed job, Silver or Gold.
Certification. An installer company is certified when at least one of its applicators, a person who puts the coating down, has passed both the online course and the practical assessment. The practical assessment is held at a Stellmann certification event, on the dates and at the places Stellmann sets. Passing the practical assessment at a certification event is Stellmann's practical sign-off. There is no travel charge for the certification event.
The Program Fee covers up to three people from the installer company at the certification event, one of whom holds the certification for the company. Each additional person costs $200 plus GST. A certification event assesses at most six people.
On-site training session. One session is four hours on site with Stellmann's trainer. Stellmann may run a session longer at its discretion.
Site inspections, field assessments and samples an installer provides are part of the installer's own sales process. Stellmann does not pay or credit a fee for them, unless it agrees a fee in writing for a specific job before the inspection. Inspections carried out before 1 November 2026 are settled under the terms that applied at the time.
These rates apply only when Stellmann engages an installer as its subcontractor. On a routed job the installer contracts with the client and sets its own price.
The weekday price per m²:
| Job area | Labour per m², plus GST |
|---|---|
| 3 to 10 m² | $44.74 |
| 10 to 24 m² | $27.42 |
| 24 to 49 m² | $19.77 |
| 49 to 89 m² | $13.08 |
| 89 to 149 m² | $10.49 |
Jobs under about 8 m² fall under the $350 visit minimum. Jobs of 150 m² and over are priced job by job before the start, because Stellmann has no measured crew speed at that size yet.
Job card and protection. Every subcontract job comes with a job card before it starts: the area, the surface, the access times, the site conditions and the fixed price. The installer accepts or declines it. The fixed price does not change with how long the job takes, except in these cases, which are outside the installer's control:
An installer certified before 1 January 2027 whom Stellmann has told in writing that it holds Gold keeps Gold from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027, provided it accepts the new Agreement before 1 January 2027. This applies wherever the installer works. From then the quarterly review applies. An existing installer who has not accepted the new Agreement by 1 January 2027 is Silver until it does. Holding Gold under this section does not include the free training session in section 10.
On the full-pay Program Fee only: complete the training, run the launch sequence, submit five quotes (three reviewed) and log two installs within 30 days of the certified date, and Stellmann credits the amount set out in the Agreement as kit credit, valid for 12 months. It is never paid as cash.
