Clear coating vs acid etching
Acid etching is the old fix: acid gets mopped over the tile and eats tiny pits into the glaze. The grip comes from damaging the surface, and that damage is permanent.

My job is only 8 to 12 square metres. Why a 30 sqm minimum?
Because you are buying inventory, not a one-off tin. Most tradies spread a 30 sqm bundle across 2 to 3 small jobs, or one small commercial plus a bathroom or balcony. The leftover stock means you can quote the next non-slip job on the spot.
Why not just grab a non-slip tin from the hardware store?
Those tins are not matched to your surface, not CSIRO tested for AS 4586, and there is no tech line to call mid-job. If it fails, you own the redo and the reputation hit.
I have never done non-slip before. Can I handle this?
If you can roll paint and follow a plan, you can install this. The bundle is built for pros doing their first serious non-slip job, and the tech line is there while you work.
Will it change how the floor looks?
Stellmann clear systems are designed to keep the original look while adding wet grip. We confirm surface suitability with you before you order.
How long does it last?
The systems are engineered for multi-year performance with correct cleaning. Like any safety system, floors need scheduled cleaning and periodic re-testing, not set and forget. We give you the maintenance guidance to hand your client.
Do I need a licence or certification to install it?
No special licence is needed for the Starter Bundle. If you want training, leads and Wholesale Pricing later, ask about the Certified Installer Program.
What if something goes wrong on site?
That is exactly what the tech line is for. Call while you are on site, send photos, and we help you adjust before it becomes a problem. That is the Install Support Promise.
I don't do non-slip work now. Where do the jobs come from?
Mostly from work you already quote. Bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, ramps and entries all carry slip requirements, and clients ask about them once you raise it. The Trade Installer Pack includes the client scripts, and logged projects route re-coat and extension work on that site back to you.
I don't know anything about slip compliance. Is that a problem?
